American TESOL Institute conducts their TESOL Certificate
program in the cultural capital of India, Kolkata. India is a
fascinating place and Kolkata is one of its greatest cities.
Kolkata is also the door to the North Eastern region on India, which has incredible natural beauty. Kolkata is also in close proximity to the beautiful pristine Sundarbans. Sundarbans is a world heritage site famous for its Royal Bengal Tigers. This city will never cease to fascinate you with its energy, humanity and culture. Kolkata is the city of Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore and Mother Teresa. In this city one can easily find the old and new, the eastern and western culture residing in harmony. There are shopping malls and high rises in the city and also old temples, mosques and markets reminding one of its colonial histories. The city of Kolkata was the capital of the British East India Company and it is here that the seed of the British colonial tree in India was sown. The TEFL certification Program in Kolkata will be for three weeks or 120 hours. The course will be taken by very efficient trainers and the support staff here is also very helpful. After doing the TEFL course the candidates will be eligible to do an ESL job in all parts of the world.
Any one who is proficient in English and has a high school diploma can do the Regular TESOL course. It is better to have a degree in case a person aspires to get an ESL job. The candidates should be at least nineteen years of age.
