Special Thai- Korea Project- Visa Procedure

Visa for Thailand

There are two kinds of Visas for Thailand.

On arrival Visa is available in Thailand but for thirty days. The visa which is obtained on arrival can be extended again for thirty days from an Immigration Office. The fee will be around USD 25.
It is however better to get Visa from the home country before coming to Thailand. It is recommended that you bring a visa which is valid for sixty days. A sixty days of tourist visa is valid and can be extended after paying just 25 USD.

Visa for South Korea

the teachers must have a E2 Visa before coming to work as ESL teacher in Korea
The entire arrangement for the Visa procedure as to be done by the teachers themselves

For procuring Visa visit the nearest Korean embassy with original passport and original diploma.
It takes about eighteen to twenty five days to get a Visa and the cost is about 110 USD

The teachers will have to send the following documents to the office in Korea through FedEx or DHL.

BA/BS degree
University transcripts – Official (sealed) university transcript (Never open the transcript)
Copy of Resume
Copy of Passport (photo side)
We will check documents and send to school

The schools in Korea will hen send the above mentioned documents to the Immigration for the Visa procedure
The Visa issuance letter will be mailed to the teachers within three days

With this letter and the following documents, the teachers have to go to the Korean Consulate.

A police criminal record check and a medical check up is absolutely mandatory for the teachers
